U-Multirank

U-Multirank is considered the largest and most detailed university ranking in the world (www.umultirank.org). It is a unique tool to compare university performance at an international level.

This edition presents information on nearly 1,948 higher education institutions, growing in terms of sample results year after year. The universities included in the study come from 98 countries.

This ranking provides a comprehensive overview of various university outcomes in five dimensions: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and linkage to the regional environment.

U-Multirank's multidimensional approach compares university performance across a range of different grading activities from "1" (excellent) to "5" (weak). It does not produce a "top 100" world ranking table of universities based on composite scores. Instead, it allows users to identify the strengths and weaknesses of a university, or the aspects that interest them most.

U-Multirank shows that it is difficult to find a university that is excellent in all its aspects and that this excellence is distributed among different universities. In short, the concept of the "best" university in the world depends on what you are looking for.

This allows both students and companies to approach those universities that are excellent in the areas in which they are interested, either to study, or to participate in collaborative projects, or to hire graduates.
