Mondragon Unibertsitatea closes the 16th edition of the MBA Executive

Mondragon Unibertsitatea and Cámara Gipuzkoa yesterday held the closing ceremony for the sixteenth edition of the MBA Executive, a master’s programme jointly promoted by both institutions since 2009

The event began at 6:00 p.m. with the institutional opening led by Mauricio Arregui, President of Cámara Gipuzkoa. This was followed by a guest lecture delivered by Txema Muñoz, Manager of Grupo Campezo, recipient of the Gipuzkoa Company of the Year 2026 award. Afterwards, diplomas were awarded to the students who successfully completed this new edition of the programme. The ceremony concluded with a speech by the Rector of Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Vicente Atxa.

In this 16th edition, professional profiles reflecting the diversity and multidisciplinary nature that characterises the MBA Executive graduated, with participants coming from fields such as engineering, chemistry, marketing, and business management.

The participants belong to companies from both the industrial and service sectors, where they hold positions of responsibility. All of them bring extensive professional experience and a diverse perspective enriched by their different academic and professional backgrounds.

Throughout the programme, students worked on the company’s main functional areas — Finance, Strategy, Marketing, Operations, Innovation, and People Management — while also developing skills related to leadership, team management, and decision-making. All of this was supported by a multidisciplinary teaching team combining university, business, and consulting experience.

Objectives

The MBA Executive is a programme focused on personal and professional transformation. Its aim is to foster capabilities for decision-making, teamwork, project and people leadership, while promoting innovation and change as key attitudes within organisations.

Likewise, the programme offers a comprehensive and systemic vision of business and strengthens the tools needed to face today’s management challenges in increasingly complex, international, and changing environments.

Positive assessment

Cámara Gipuzkoa and the Faculty of Business Studies at Mondragon Unibertsitatea have made a very positive assessment of this new edition of the MBA Executive. After 16 editions and more than 260 professionals trained, both institutions reaffirm their joint commitment to strengthening the business fabric of Gipuzkoa through education and the development of managerial talent.

Next edition

The next edition of the MBA Executive will begin in autumn 2026. People interested in learning more details about the programme may participate in an online information session taking place on 21 May 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. During the session, the objectives of the master’s programme, its methodology, and the practical and transformational approach that characterises the programme will be presented.
