The students of the Degree in Business Data Analytics received the great challenge of helping Innobasque to know better the factors that help to make a region more competitive.
The students of the Degree in Business Data Analytics received the great challenge of helping Innobasque to know better the factors that help to make a region more competitive. To do this, they have had to identify what the indicators are, beyond the 18 that are measured in the Regional Innovation Scorecard, which make a region be considered as “advanced and leader in innovation”. Far from believing that the 18 Regional Scorecard indicators are isolated realities of an economy, bdaters have had to identify, through data analytics and the application of machine learning techniques, which are the most favorable competitive environments for these indicators flourish.
This second challenge has allowed bdaters to understand and analyze the basic macro, meso and microeconomic indicators of the countries and regions of the EU, improving their skills in identifying strong economies. Analyzing a large amount of economic and competitive data from regions that have previously been labeled as advanced and leaders in innovation, bdaters have been able to help Innobasque generate deeper knowledge that helps us increase the chances of making Euskadi an increasingly competitive region and leader in innovation.
