June 18 saw the graduation ceremony of the first class of students in the Master’s Degree program in Learning Facilitation and Innovation (Lit). The event, held at the TeamLabs headquarters in Madrid, was attended by representatives from the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences and TeamLabs, organizations that co-designed the Master’s degree.

In the words of Nagore Ipiña, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences, “this program provides training in a new profession, that of learning facilitators, who will change the spaces in which we move and will have an impact on many people.” Felix Lozano, co-founder of TeamLabs, added that “the Master’s program is surpassing all expectations that we had when we began designing it.”

Carlos Magro, Vice President of the Open Education Association, and expert in innovation and education, was a special guest at the ceremony (read his full speech here).

Some of the 14 students in the first graduating class of the Master’s degree also took part in the event.
