The project in which Lide Alvarez, a student of the Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, participates, has been recognized in the international entrepreneurship and innovation program TEAMIT+. Thanks to this recognition, the team has obtained funding and coaching support to continue developing the initiative.

TEAMIT+ is an international program that brings together participants from France, Greece, Finland and Spain with the aim of working in multicultural teams to develop innovative solutions to social and environmental challenges.

Lide Alvarez's team has developed "NERO", a proposal aimed at reducing the excessive consumption of water generated in the tourism sector. The project proposes a smart device for hotels that offers real-time visual feedback on water consumption in showers, in order to raise awareness among users in a natural and non-restrictive way.

The NERO project has been selected among the three best projects of the programme. This recognition will allow the team to access new mentoring and coaching opportunities to further develop the idea and explore its future real application.
