The results of the international GUESSS 23/24 report place the Faculty of Business of Mondragon Unibertsitatea above the national and European averages in entrepreneurial intention and rate its ecosystem as the best valued for the birth of new projects

Mondragon Unibertsitatea continues to climb positions as one of the academic institutions with the greatest impact on the global entrepreneurial ecosystem. This is confirmed by the data extracted from the GUESSS 2023-2024 report (Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students' Survey), the world's largest survey on university entrepreneurship, which has analyzed more than 3,000 universities.
A unique ecosystem: The best rating in entrepreneurial climate One of the most notable milestones of the report is the students' perception of their environment. The Faculty of Business of Mondragon Unibertsitatea has obtained the best rating in university entrepreneurial climate with a score of 4.8 out of 7, easily exceeding the averages for Spain and the rest of Europe.
This result is no coincidence: the report indicates that the university's reputation and its specific training offer in leadership and entrepreneurship (with the LEINN degree as the spearhead and the experiential learning methodology) are the pillars that consolidate its position as an international benchmark.
Entrepreneurial vocation: Exceeding global expectations The spirit of the students of the Faculty of Business of Mondragon Unibertsitatea stands out for its ambition and strategic vision:
- Immediate intention: 17.1% of students express their intention to undertake entrepreneurship as soon as they finish their studies, a figure significantly higher than the national, European, and global averages.
- Long-term vision: In five years, the commitment to entrepreneurship grows to 24.7%. The data reflects a clear strategy among the youth of the Faculty of Business of Mondragon Unibertsitatea: the commitment to acquiring previous professional experience before leading their own projects with greater guarantees of success.
Real entrepreneurship and collective commitment Beyond intentions, the GUESSS report shows an active reality in our classrooms. 11.4% of students are already currently participating in entrepreneurial initiatives, and 6% are already leading an operating company while completing their studies.
True to its DNA, the university stands out for a marked tendency towards collective entrepreneurship. While in other contexts the individual model prevails, the students of the Faculty of Business of Mondragon Unibertsitatea opt for shared projects, aligning perfectly with the cooperative culture and the inter-cooperation values that define the institution.
