Iciar Alonso, a myGADE student, has won first prize in the fifth edition of the investment contest organized by Bankinter
Iciar Alonso, a 3rd year student of the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management - myGADE Dual of the Business School of Mondragon Unibertsitatea at the Bilbao campus, has won the 5th edition of Bankinter's "Game of Traders" investment contest. Around 80 universities and university centers participated in this edition.
Icíar Alonso tells us that "our professor, Aitor Oviedo, who deals with stock market issues at the university encouraged us all to participate in this contest, and I, who likes this subject, signed up".
On the other hand, when asked about how his experience has been and against whom he has competed he does not hesitate to put in value this type of activities. "I really enjoyed participating to be able to learn more about this investment world that interests me. It must be said that it requires effort and knowledge. We were about 900 people from different universities in Spain", she tells us, showing the work done.
Icíar has won a prize from Bankinter but she tells us that the most important prize for her has been to be able to get an internship at Bankinter.
