The course aims to offer members knowledge and tools for the development of the socio-business projects of their respective cooperatives. This year, 19 people from 12 different cooperatives will participate.

On October 6, classes began for the Expert Certification Course in Cooperativism, now in its 16th year. This year, 19 people from 12 different cooperatives will take part in the course. In-person classes will be held on Fridays on the Eskoriatza campus.

This 16th year of the course will see the participation of members of the following cooperatives: Auzolagun, Copreci, Fagor Assembly, Fagor Ederlan, Fagor Automation, Fagor Electronics, Fagor Industrial, Maier, RPK, UHS, Ulma CyS and Ulma Packaging.

Revitalizing cooperativism

The purpose of this course is to promote processes that foster the socio-business project of cooperativism. Thus, during the course, the participants will acquire solid theoretical and practical knowledge that will help them understand and analyze the cooperative situation.

 

During this expert certification course, participants will acquire tools for the development of the socio-business projects of their organizations. Additionally, by sharing experiences, they will have the opportunity to become familiar with and reflect on the experiences of other cooperatives. This course is highly practical and will conclude with significant practical projects carried out by the participants.

 

Exemplary course

This course, which is exemplary in training cooperativists and members of administrative agencies, is organized by the LANKI Institute of Co-operative Research of Mondragon University and by the Otalora training center of the Mondragon Group. Over the years of its existence, more than 300 representatives from 40 different cooperatives have participated in the Expert Certification Course in Cooperativism.
