The Structural Mechanics and Design research group at Mondragon Unibertsitatea will host a transfer event for companies, showcasing our main lines of research and the capabilities of our equipment. We will also identify synergies and potential areas of common interest with industry professionals. Technical profiles and intermediate or managerial positions are welcome to attend if they are interested in improving their mechanical operations via testing, modeling, and simulation of lubricants, machine elements, and components. 

In addition, the occasion will be used to identify synergies and potential technological areas of common interest between the companies and the research group..

If you work in industry and you think that your activity could improve from the mechanical point of view, testing and modelling of lubricants, design and dimensioning of machine elements, machine monitoring, multiphysics simulation of components and experimental tests, come and meet us and we will try to identify synergies. The event is aimed at both technical profiles and intermediate or managerial positions.

  • 9:30 – 9:50. Contact scale laboratory testing equipment 
  • 9:50 – 10:10. Component testing equipment. 
  • 10:10 – 10:30. Customized testing equipment. 
  • 10:30 – 10:50. Simulation as a analysis tool
  • 10:50 - 11:20. Coffee break

Session 2: Result dissemination

  • 11:20 - 11:40. BISUM. Bio-Inspired SUrfaces for Machine Elements.
  • 11:40 –12:00. CIRMET. Innovative and efficient solution based on modular, versatile, smart process units for energy and resource flexibility in highly energy intensive processes.
  • 12:00 – 12:20. SmartFlexCell. Smart Reconfigurable Manufacturing Cell.

Session 3: Visit to laboratories

  • 12:30 - 13:00. Visit to laboratories and testing workshops.
  • 13:00 – 14:00. Workshop closure and lunch in place.
