In a presentation on November 26 on the Aretxabaleta campus, five new organizations joined the Dual track of the degree program in Audiovisual Communication. Beginning this academic year, Ikerlan, Ideko, Goiena, Arizmendi and Arteman are the five new organizations that will have students in the Dual track of the degree program. Representatives from the degree program and from the five companies participated in the presentation.

Dual training is based on the principle of complementarity between learning in an academic setting and in a professional setting. The main goal of the dual model is for the student to learn through working, rather than working while studying. The relationship established in the dual model is based on an agreement signed by the three involved parties: the student, the company and the university.

The degree program in Audiovisual Communication offers two tracks, Audiovisual Creation and Digital Communication, in which the dual model came into effect last year. The Dual option especially addresses professions in the digital field. This second track is related to the corporate communication of organizations, taking into account the importance of the audiovisual in these areas. In addition, students work on knowledge related to digital marketing, communication plan design, product dissemination processes, and the organization of events.

There are now 11 organizations taking part in the Dual track, the five that are new this year and the six that joined last year: Laboral Kutxa, AZK, Bizipoz, Manahmana, Emun and Sorland.
