Education Students visit Baigorri and strengthen collaboration with the Etxauzia project
13 Mondragon University students had the opportunity to visit Lower Navarre and become personally acquainted with the social, economic and cultural Etxauzia project.
On April 13-15, 13 first-year Primary Education students and three instructors from the Faculty of Humanities and Education had the opportunity to visit Baigorri and Lower Navarre to meet with Etxauzia’s Board of Directors and become personally acquainted with their regional development project.
In addition to visiting various towns in the area, the students became familiar with different socio-economic projects such as the Belaun cooperative and chocolate producer Laia. The visitors also attended a talk by historian Antton Curutcharry.
The promoters of the Etxauzia project and the Faculty of Humanities and Education signed a collaboration agreement last November.
