Five Audiovisual Communication students in the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University will form the panel of judges for the 17th Nest Film Students section of the 66th San Sebastian Film Festival.

Dozens of short films by international students will be included in this contest. Under the coordination of Professor Zuriñe Maguregi, fourth-year students Unai Portilla, Leire Zarate, Irati Bergara, Haizea Azpilikueta, and Ane Zuazubiskar (photo, left to right) will form the panel of judges responsible for selecting the most innovative short film, which will be awarded a prize of 5,000 euros provided by Orona.

In addition to screenings of short films from around the world, the 5-day 17th International Student Meeting will include conferences and master classes with well-known filmmakers.

This year’s meeting is the fourth time that the Film Festival and the Huhezinema Basque Short Films Festival will collaborate to form the panel of judges.
