On June 15, Telesforo Monzon eLab and the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University signed a collaboration agreement. The agreement reflects the interest of the two organizations in establishing collaborative relationships. For the two entities to understand each other, it is important that they maintain a close relationship and effective collaboration.

The agreement includes the main aspects to be worked on by the two institutions. The two organizations will collaborate on topics such as strategic forward planning, the new policy agenda, and governance and policy innovation. The collaboration agreement will be constructed with a general and clear purpose: to contribute to the objective of responding systemically to the new historical time of the Basque people, through cooperation and from the culture of transformation, which will allow us to face the transitions of the next two decades as a country. The projects developed in recent years by Telesforo Monzon eLab in conjunction with the Social Innovation project of the LANKI Institute of Cooperative Studies will be the starting point of this collaboration. The signed collaboration agreement will facilitate and guide the actions of both entities in the medium to long term.

After signing the document, Urko Aiartza, Director of Telesforo Monzon eLab, stated that “for a laboratory like ours, which is focused on reflection and experimentation, it is very important to collaborate with institutions like Mondragon University to carry out forward planning work in the face of the challenges that arise in the creation of the country.” For her part, Nagore Ipiña, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences, added that the agreement is a perfect fit with the values of the Faculty and that it will allow Mondragon University “to experiment within the framework of the creation of the country, in addition to helping to weave a network of relationships.”

The institutional representatives concluded the event by adding that they wish to promote the most effective collaboration possible, while guaranteeing the autonomy of each institution. In the opinion of the signatories, the objective of the collaboration agreement is to work in as coordinated a way as possible with the intention of multiplying the strengths of the two organizations.
