The LANKI Institute of Cooperative Studies of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences will offer a Specialist Course in Innovation in Governance for the first time, beginning on October 24, 2019. The course is particularly designed for professionals in different areas of governance, such as: political municipal representatives, political representatives of provincial governments, municipal technicians, representatives of political parties, representatives from development agencies, representatives of Basque political parties, and representatives of the agents of organized Basque civil society.

The purpose of this in-person course is to become familiar with, understand and develop the skills necessary to work in Basque governance, while also addressing the following questions: What knowledge is most important today for a citizen who participates or will participate in Basque governance? How can those who work in governance best be empowered so that their work is as transformative and effective as possible?

The Specialist Course consists of 300 credit hours, and will be offered at Orona-Ideo in Hernani.
