The GUESSS project (Global Entrepreneurial Spirit Student Survey) is a research project on university entrepreneurship
The GUESSS project (Global Entrepreneurial Spirit Student Survey) is a research project on university entrepreneurship involving more than 3,000 universities in 50 countries. It is coordinated globally by the Universities of St. Gallen and Bern in Switzerland.
In Spain GUESSS (https://guesss-spain.com/), is a project of the GEM Entrepreneurship Observatory sponsored by SANFI (https://sanfi.es/) and supported by CRUE and the High Commission for Spain as an Entrepreneurial Nation of the Presidency of the Government. It is a collaborative research project that has representatives in the 72 universities (including Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Faculty of Business) that have participated in this edition and is coordinated by a team of researchers from the University of Cadiz. GUESSS is an international non-profit observatory that aims to better understand and investigate the entrepreneurial phenomenon in universities.To this end, every two years it prepares specific reports that allow a comparison of the situation by country and issues recommendations addressed to academic authorities and policy makers, professors and students with the aim of promoting the entrepreneurial culture and the creation of companies based on university knowledge. The presentation of the exploitation of the results and the issuance of the national report is scheduled for the beginning of the academic year.
