Yesterday afternoon 16 diplomas were awarded to the new graduates who have passed the course
The Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea and the Chamber of Commerce of Gipuzkoa closed yesterday the 12th edition of its Executive MBA, which was launched in 2009 by both entities. Over the last 13 years, nearly 250 people have studied this Executive MBA, and yesterday afternoon 16 diplomas were awarded to the new graduates who have passed the course.
Yesterday's ceremony took place at the Chamber of Gipuzkoa at 18:30 hours, with the opening by Pedro Esnaola, president of the Chamber of Gipuzkoa. Then, two students of the master's degree took the floor, telling their experience in it, to give way to Izaskun Larrañaga, CEO of the Lacor-IBILI Group, company awarded with the Gipuzkoa Business Award 2022, who gave a lecture for the attendees. At 19:30 the diplomas were awarded to the 16 students who have passed the Master's course and Vicente Atxa, Rector of Mondragon Unibertsitatea, closed the event.
Alumni
The new graduates, aged between 30 and 44, belong to companies in both the industrial and service sectors (from 15 employees to more than 250) where they hold positions of responsibility. All of them have extensive professional experience and diverse previous academic training in Industrial Engineering, Organizational Engineering, Telecommunications, Process and Product Innovation, Architecture, Political Science, Environmental Chemistry and Business Administration and Management, among other sectors.
The students have had classroom sessions to study the functional areas of the company (Finance, Strategy, Marketing, Operations, Innovation, People) and have also worked on their management and leadership skills in the context of residential stays. During this time they have been accompanied by a multidisciplinary teaching team, combining the approaches and experiences of the university, consulting and business.
Objectives
The Executive MBA is a program oriented towards personal transformation, and aims to foster skills and abilities for decision-making, teamwork, project and personal leadership, promoting innovation and change as personal and professional attitudes. It also provides a comprehensive and systemic approach to companies and business management in all relevant areas. Another objective of the Executive MBA is to update and reinforce the concepts that make it possible to manage the different functions of the organization, taking into account the diversity of international and cultural contexts.
Positive assessment
The Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce and Mondragon Unibertsitatea have given a very satisfactory assessment of the development of the 12th edition of the Master's program. With nearly 250 professionals trained in the classrooms of this MBA over the last 13 years, both entities are committed to continue working together to strengthen the business fabric of the region through the training of its working professionals.
The registration period is now open for the new edition, which will begin on October 21, and online and face-to-face sessions are being organized to provide more details about the program and resolve all kinds of doubts.
