The 22 participants give classes in Undergraduate and Master's degrees and aimed at the exchange of experiences and discussion of the content and methodologies applied in their classes. Through workshops, lectures and discussion sessions, the attendees were able to identify synergies that allow them to collaborate in future educational projects.

Alaitz Kortabarria and Argider Isasti attended the seminar as representatives of the Productive Logistics Operations Management area of Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa. After participating in the sessions and workshops, they had the opportunity to discuss the project carried out with the third-year students of the Degree in Engineering in Industrial Organisation of Mondragon Unibertsitatea: Analysis of the supply chain of an industrial company specialising in the sales and distribution sector to identify the key logistics factors that increase competitive advantage.

During the first semester of the third year of the Degree, students worked in subjects such as Project Management, Logistics II, Finance and International Trade, and Quantitative Methods of Industrial Organisation II. The learning methodology applied in Mondragon Unibertsitatea is the PBL (Project-Based Learning), which enables students to address the following aspects:

  • Analysis and representation of the key elements of the supply chain.
  • Identification of countries with potential suppliers and definition of legal requirements to establish supply.
  • Definition of the optimal transport mode to the logistics warehouses.
  • Proposal and simulation (simulation of discrete events) of the logistics solution that allows storing, delivering and preparing the orders of shots in an efficient manner.
