This year's theme: I want to work in science and research!

To participate in the Euspot competition, the participants had to create a 30-second ad to promote scientific and technical vocations, and to inspire interest and passion for science and technology in young people as well as the desire to actively participate in the transformation of the world. The chosen theme aims to bring the STEAM disciplines to young people and to increase interest in and knowledge about STEAM professions. This year’s competition aims to promote creativity, passion for learning and scientific thinking.

The Basque Country 2030 Science, Technology and Innovation Plan (PCTI 2030) is the main sponsor of this year's competition.

500 young people in the training sessions offered

Again this year, the organization offered seminars on audiovisual advertising in schools in the Basque Country with the aim of fostering the pool of ad creators. The aims of the training sessions were to promote creativity and knowledge of the world of advertising among young people and to encourage them to participate in the competition. Over the years, more than 4,000 young people have participated in Euspot training sessions in different Basque educational centers.

Organization

The Basque ad competition is organized by the City Council of Aretxabaleta, Arteman Communication, the Arizmendi School, and Mondragon University’s Communication campus in Aretxabaleta.
