During the conference, participants will focus on cultural activity and education from the perspectives of the Basque Country and the Basque language. In addition, Master’s students in Dynamization of Basque Culture will present their End-of-Degree projects at the conference, which will be held in San Sebastian.
On March 21 and 22, 2025, the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University will host the third annual conference of the Master’s degree program in Dynamization of Basque Culture. The conference will be held in San Sebastian, at the headquarters of the Royal Academy of the Basque Language. This year’s reflections will focus on cultural activity and education from the perspectives of the Basque Country and the Basque Language. First, in a research seminar on Friday, March 21, participants will work on establishing the bases for positioning popular cultural activity. Second, on Saturday, March 22, they will discuss ways to organize education to ensure the transmission of the Basque culture and the perspective of the Basque Country.
The conference will be held at the headquarters of the Royal Academy of the Basque Language in San Sebastian. It is open to the public, but interested parties must register in advance.

Fruits of the Master’s degree program in Dynamization of Basque Culture
During the two days of the conference, graduates of the Master’s degree program in Dynamization of Basque Culture will present their End-of-Degree projects. The Master’s program directors have classified the works into two groups: works that analyze various challenges in Basque culture, and works that propose various ways to work on different aspects of Basque culture in education.
