myGADE first year students have participated in the international “Basque Companies Abroad” program
MyGADE first year students from the three campuses (Oñati, Bidasoa and Bilbao) have enjoyed the “Basque Companies Abroad” program at the end of January.
MyGADE first year students from the three campuses (Oñati, Bidasoa and Bilbao) have enjoyed the “Basque Companies Abroad” program at the end of January. This program is integrated into myGADE in response to the objectives of internationalization of the degree, which allows students to have an open mind and become aware of the reality of European companies.
To this end, different groups of students have traveled to the following countries: United Kingdom (London, Birmingham), Czech Republic (Prague), Germany (Munich, Dusseldorf, Berlin, Frankfurt). In this experience, they have had the opportunity to meet the members of other campuses, since all the groups are formed by students from different campuses and have been accompanied by professors throughout the trip.
Throughout the week they have had several business visits as part of their program, always adapted to each country, either visiting subsidiaries of Spanish companies, or analyzing other specific situations in each country while receiving conferences; they have been able to understand the companies of each country, the sectors and, ultimately, the keys to the economy of each country. In addition to this knowledge, this first trip has also helped to develop personal traits of the students. This has been the beginning of many other international experiences in the coming years.
