Students from the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering visited Danobat. The visit was part of the Advanced Automation of Industrial Processes course and allowed them to see the cooperative's entire production plant firsthand. Danobat is a machine tool company, and its production plants feature cutting-edge technology and advanced automation processes.
On the visit, they were accompanied by Iñaki Echave and Auritz Etxaburu, the former head of the Heavy Duty department, and the latter, a technician and alumnus of Mondragon Unibertsitatea's engineering program.
A University Close to Business
Mondragon Unibersitatea's engineering students make several annual visits to companies to learn about their facilities and the latest technologies implemented. This is a very practical activity that offers students the opportunity to see how the technology learned in the classroom is applied in the company.
Through these visits, students can also learn firsthand about the companies where they can complete their final project or participate in the dual program. Danobat, for example, annually integrates several engineering students into its workforce to complete their final project or participate in the dual program.
Thank you, Danobat, and see you next time!
