The new specialization will be available beginning in September and will be offered in the form of in-person classes taught by professionals in the field.
Beginning on January 24, 2020, the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences will offer a new specialization to all graduates in Primary Education: Hearing and Language.
This second specialization, for which there is great professional demand, will be offered in the face-to-face modality and will consist of 15 weekend class sessions led by experts and professionals. The face-to-face classes will take place on the Aretxabaleta campus. The participants will also have a tutor from the Faculty who will guide them regarding the input from the work sessions and the various subjects.
Furthermore, moving beyond the field of Education, the program will also be offered as a Specialist Diploma aimed students in Early Childhood Education and professionals (psychologists, educators, etc.) who are working in or who wish to specialize in hearing and language disorders and their intervention: the Specialist Diploma in Intervention in Hearing and Language Difficulties.
Including this new specialization, there are now a total of five secondary specializations that the Faculty offers to those holding a degree in Primary Education (all online except Hearing and Language): Primary Education, Foreign Languages, Special Education, Physical Education, and the newly-launched Hearing and Language.
