Enpresagintza and Agustinak Zentroa Sign a Collaboration Agreement to Promote Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Cultural and Creative Industries
The agreement aims to strengthen the connection between young entrepreneurial talent, innovation, the incubation of new projects, and the Cultural and Creative Industries ecosystem in the region. One of the first outcomes of this collaboration will be the CCI (Cultural and Creative Industries) Hackathon, to be held in September 2026

Agustinak Zentroa and the Faculty of Business Studies of Mondragon University have signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen the link between the entrepreneurial talent of young people in the cultural and creative fields and the region’s cultural and creative ecosystem.
Through this agreement, Oarsoaldea, through its strategic project Agustinak Zentroa, and Enpresagintza, particularly through its entrepreneurship unit Mondragon Team Academy (MTA-LEINN), reaffirm their commitment to collaborating in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship, research and education.
An Alliance to Connect Talent and Territory
The agreement consolidates the collaboration that both entities have developed over recent years and establishes a stable framework to promote initiatives linked to the development of the Cultural and Creative Industries. It also seeks to strengthen the connection between the university and local stakeholders, placing knowledge, young entrepreneurial talent, innovation and research at the service of the cultural and creative sector.
The collaboration will also enable the development of joint initiatives in project incubation, applied research and knowledge transfer, facilitating the creation, consolidation and integration of new business initiatives linked to the Cultural and Creative Industries within the region’s economic and creative ecosystem.
The agreement also includes the design of training programmes aimed at both students and professionals in the sector, the exchange of experts, and the joint identification of new opportunities for collaboration in projects and initiatives of common interest.
The CCI Hackathon, One of the First Outcomes of the Collaboration
Within this framework, the CCI Hackathon: Innovation and Sustainability in the Cultural and Creative Industries will be held in September 2026 at Agustinak Zentroa.
This initiative, jointly promoted by Mondragon Team Academy (MTA-LEINN) and Agustinak Zentroa, will be developed with the support of SPRI’s Erronka 2030 programme and will bring together stakeholders from the cultural and creative sector and entrepreneurial students to address real challenges through innovative solutions.
Multidisciplinary teams from the LEINN degree programme will work alongside professionals from the Cultural and Creative Industries on various strategic challenges, including fostering collaboration among stakeholders, promoting responsible digitalisation, strengthening the professionalisation of the sector, and increasing the international projection of cultural projects.
Furthermore, the Hackathon will encourage direct collaboration between Enpresagintza students, resident projects at Agustinak Zentroa, entrepreneurs and companies from the region, creating a shared working space focused on real challenges facing the sector.
Through this collaboration, Enpresagintza and Agustinak Zentroa will combine their expertise in entrepreneurship and innovation with the work both organisations carry out in promoting and strengthening the Cultural and Creative Industries sector.
The main objective is to facilitate direct connections between organisations, professionals and companies in the Cultural and Creative Industries and young talent, fostering innovation processes, encouraging the creation of new projects and strengthening the sector’s capacity to respond to its main challenges.
Beyond this initial initiative, the agreement establishes a long-term framework for collaboration to promote new actions in entrepreneurship, innovation, education, incubation and applied research, contributing to the consolidation of Agustinak Zentroa as a benchmark space for the development of the Cultural and Creative Industries in Oarsoaldea and its surrounding area.
At the same time, initiatives of this kind provide young people with the opportunity to participate in real projects, fostering creativity, collaboration and entrepreneurship, while also strengthening their connection with the local community. In this regard, the initiative aligns with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda by promoting the development of young entrepreneurial talent, innovation and community well-being.
