Companies and talent connect at Bilbao AS FABRIK: The data profile, a key and highly demanded asset in the labor market
Bilbao AS FABRIK hosted yesterday a key meeting between leading organizations and Data Analytics students from the Business Faculty

The event, which brought together around 100 people, served to confirm that the Business Data profile is currently one of the most requested by companies to lead digital transformation. The main objective of the conference was to foster direct networking between students and the business fabric, allowing students to learn firsthand about the real needs of the sector and companies to proactively identify specialized talent.
The event was specifically aimed at 3rd and 4th-year students of the Degree in Business Data Analytics (BDATA), as well as students of the Master's Degree in Data Analysis for Business Intelligence/Business Analytics (MUBA). The dynamic sought to facilitate access to academic internships for third-year students and open doors to direct employability for those completing their training this year.
Direct connection with companies
During the conference, participating companies presented their projects and emphasized the critical need to incorporate professionals capable of analyzing data for strategic decision-making. This competence has become a highly demanded asset, placing our students in a position of competitive advantage in today's market.
The leading organizations of this edition were:
Technology and Industry: Ormazabal, Idom, Mondragon Assembly, and PowerCloud.
Banking and Insurance: Kutxabank and Laboral Kutxa.
Retail and Services: Eroski, Woko, and Arise.
Networking and Pride: From the classroom to the company
Following the presentations, the networking space allowed for direct contact at the stands, generating a constant flow of CV exchanges and brief interviews. Feedback was excellent from both sides: companies highlighted the solid technical preparation of the students, and students highly valued the real future opportunities presented.
A very significant aspect was the participation of Alumni who returned to the Faculty as representatives of their current companies. Their presence not only certifies the excellent reception of this degree in the professional environment but also reinforces the sense of pride in belonging to an academic community that successfully responds to real industry challenges.
Commitment to employability
This conference is part of the Faculty's strategy to connect talent with real business opportunities. By bringing together more than 100 participants at Bilbao AS FABRIK, Mondragon Unibertsitatea reaffirms its position as a benchmark in the training of data professionals, a sector where the demand for qualified talent continues to grow steadily.
