Internationalisation is part of the DNA of the Dual Degree in Business Administration and Management (myGADE) at the Faculty of Business Studies of Mondragon Unibertsitatea. Through a range of international experiences integrated into the curriculum, students develop international competencies and a global, intercultural perspective that prepares them to succeed in increasingly international professional environments

Throughout this academic year, students from different cohorts have taken part in international experiences tailored to each stage of their educational journey. However, this month of May has been especially significant for third-year students, who are currently undertaking their International Experience Program, one of the most transformative experiences of the degree.
A month of international immersion linked to their specialisation
In their third year, myGADE students choose a professional specialisation that allows them to deepen their knowledge in one of the areas currently most in demand in the labour market. This choice also determines the destination of their international experience, which is designed to complement their education within leading business and academic ecosystems.
For one month, students take part in an academic and cultural immersion experience in some of the world's leading hubs of knowledge and innovation:
- Finance and Data Analytics in Dublin, in collaboration with Dublin Business School.
- Digital Marketing in Budapest, together with Budapest University of Economics and Business.
- Talent and People Management in Mexico, in collaboration with Tecnológico de Monterrey.
- Internationalisation in India, working with institutions such as Chitkara University and Goa Institute of Management.
Beyond classroom learning, the programme enables students to gain first-hand insight into different business realities, participate in challenges related to their specialisation, and develop key intercultural competencies for their professional future.
Much more than an academic trip
The International Experience Program is far more than a traditional study trip. It is a high-impact educational module in which students work on real-world challenges, interact with specialised companies and universities, and apply their knowledge in international contexts.
This experience allows them to consolidate their professional specialisation while developing skills such as adaptability, intercultural communication, the ability to work in diverse environments, and an understanding of international markets.
An international journey throughout the degree
The international experience in myGADE is designed to help students progressively build a global perspective throughout their studies.
The journey begins in the second year with the Intercampus Challenge, a week of collaborative challenges in a European environment. It continues in the third year with a specialised international immersion experience and culminates in the fourth year with an International Semester and the opportunity to complete the Final Degree Project in a company abroad.
This commitment to internationalisation enables myGADE students to gain real experiences in different countries, broaden their professional and personal horizons, and prepare themselves to lead projects and organisations in a global context.
