Registration: ‘EDE-Klik morea: a tool to promote the employability of women in Debagoiena’

On June 20, the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University will hold a conference entitled ‘EDE-Klik morea: a tool to promote the employability of women in Debagoiena.’ The STEM and Digitalization group of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences has investigated the gender gap brought about by digital competence in Alto Deba in relation to employment and has created a digital ecosystem to respond to it. The project received help from the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa and from various agents in Alto Deba. The main purpose of the conference is to publicly present this tool and offer a space to collect further reflections on the topic.

The STEM and Digitalization group of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University has designed a digital ecosystem whose objective is to improve the employability of women in the region. The ecosystem was developed with the collaboration of EMUN and GoiSolutions. The project was carried out as part of the 2024 call by the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa for the promotion of quality employment.

After researching the impact of digitalization on the increase in gender gaps, it was decided to design a digital ecosystem that would be free, easy to use and personalized. Over the last few months, the training offered by Lanbide, KZ guneak, Bastida Akademia and the Miguel Altuna Center for the development of digital skills has been identified and classified. This facilitated the design of personalized pathways, and helped in the creation of a digital ecosystem based on this information.
