Course for social economy organizations: training and action plan for the green transition
The course is part of a European initiative that promotes training for workers in Social Economy Organizations to face the challenges of the so-called triple transition (green, digital, and fair and inclusive).
The green transition challenge course has currently been launched in Spain, although the digital and fair and inclusive challenge programs will also be available in the future.
The course is aimed at active workers who act on behalf of their organization and who fit the profiles of managers, middle managers, or staff of collaborating companies. The course is available online and is free of charge. It requires an estimated dedication of approximately 16 hours and consists of two modules:
Module 1 (4 hours).
Generic content. Concepts of Green Transition and Systems Thinking are discussed as tools to enhance the activities of organizations. To access the course, interested parties must create an account on this page. Then, access the course "Implementing Systems Thinking for the Social Economy in the Green Transition."
Module 2 (12 hours)
Analysis and proposal of an action plan for implementation in the organization. This involves directing knowledge toward business transformation through the use of a diagnostic tool. The module includes: identifying and analyzing opportunities and evaluating them based on the reality of each organization; exploring innovations and proposing green innovation strategies; and finally, formulating and implementing solutions to improve the organization's sustainability. Personalized tutoring with experts will be available to validate the analysis and action plan.
The learning platforms include content for reading and viewing presentations, examples and best practices from other organizations, forms, practical exercises, etc., allowing the pace of work to be tailored to each individual. It is recommended that the course be completed between October and December 2025, as once completed within this period, a Certificate of Completion endorsed by the European Commission will be issued.

Framed within the baSE project
This course is part of the European baSE project and is co-funded by the European Commission.
The objective of the project is to define a Education and training strategy for the challenges of the social economy in Europe, and to this end, it involves 25 organizations from 10 countries. Having defined the training programs at the European level, the current phase of the project aims to train 150 people from each project member country so that they can begin to integrate this knowledge into social economy organizations. As these are the first people to complete these programs, feedback and points for improvement will be requested upon completion for future editions.
