Period: 2024-2025

Budget: €16,334.19

Gipuzkoa Egan Bizzi is an innovative project that redefines the territory's value proposition to promote youth entrepreneurship, with a special focus on technological entrepreneurship and the integration of young people with STEAM profiles, an area where Gipuzkoa has a particularly low level of entrepreneurial participation.

The project analyzed the experiences of 142 young entrepreneurs and 24 focus groups, revealing:

  • Significant precariousness in the early stages of entrepreneurship.
  • Very low presence of technological and STEAM projects, especially those led by women.
  • Challenges in work-life balance, housing, and access to support networks.

Egan Bizzi has designed a New Territorial Value Proposition based on:
equality, well-being, technology, and recognition of effort.

This vision integrates employment, caregiving, financing, housing, and technological training as pillars of the entrepreneurial life project.

The project has already generated tangible progress: extension of stipend-based scholarships to three years, new solidarity investment mechanisms, and greater coordination among ecosystem stakeholders. Furthermore, it consolidates an equality approach that highlights existing gaps in access to financing, technological leadership, and caregiving responsibilities.

With this work, Gipuzkoa is moving towards a territorial model that fosters equality in entrepreneurship, promotes STEM careers, and encourages sustainable, technological, and people-centered youth entrepreneurship.
