Registration: Cyberproxy: the prevention of cyberharassment and harassment
On May 19, the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University will hold a conference entitled ‘Cyberproxy: the prevention of cyberharassment and harassment.’ The team that has been working to organize the event explains the main purpose of the conference as follows: “The issue of harassment has long been a concern in the field of education. In recent years, due to digital technologies, harassment has spread and expanded, and preventing it has become a challenge.”
The ‘Cyberproxy: the prevention of cyberharassment and harassment’ conference marks the conclusion of the Cyberproxy project. The main goal of the project is to promote the prevention of harassment and cyberharassment by making use of gamification and the metaverse. The Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University is a collaborator in the project and this conference was therefore organized to learn about what has been worked on to date and to hold an open discussion about prevention. The goal is to become familiar with what the project has accomplished and, based on that, to promote constructive dialogue involving various profiles: professionals in educational innovation and digitalization (Cristina Etxeandia, Berritzegune Nagusia), teachers (Elia Revuelta, Uribarri Secondary School), parents, and students in the Bachelor’s degree program in Primary Education.
