Objectives and Methodology

The programme is designed for young people aged 16 to 20 and combines individual reflection with teamwork. It addresses two key aspects: firstly, it enables each participant to develop their own competencies and explore their professional future; and secondly, it seeks to generate genuine commitment to the sustainable development of the territory through the lens of the social economy.

Thematic Pillars

Batera - WE4ALL focuses on five key areas:

  • Transformative and sustainable social economy
  • Ethical and responsible use of technologies
  • Teamwork and inclusive leadership
  • Entrepreneurship with purpose and social impact
  • Career guidance and understanding of the socio-economic environment

Funding and Accessibility

Thanks to co-financing from the Spanish Government's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and the European Union's NextGenerationEU funds, participation has been completely free of charge. This has removed economic barriers and allowed any interested young person to access the programme.

Furthermore, open-access educational materials have been developed. Teachers, youth workers, and other education professionals can download and use them in their own contexts.

Reach and Impact

To date, the programme has been promoted in over 170 educational centres across the Basque Country and Navarre. Partnerships have also been established with youth agencies, and promotion has extended to 415 local councils in both territories, significantly expanding its impact. Meanwhile, 160 participants have completed the training to date across different adapted formats, demonstrating that the programme influences their perspective on the social economy and the questions they consider regarding their positive contribution to the territory.

Project Continuity

The results from the initial editions co-financed by the Spanish Government's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and the European Union - NextGenerationEU have been positive, leading to plans for new calls for applications using own funds. Mondragon Unibertsitatea Enpresagintza and TAZEBAEZ thus maintain their commitment to training young people with entrepreneurial capacity, critical thinking, and social commitment, opening new editions in collaboration with local councils and educational centres in the coming months.
