A joint event was held today by Mondragon University: the official opening of the 2020/21 academic year and the inauguration of the new Humanities and Education Science Faculty building on the Eskoriatza Campus

In the last four years there has been a 25% increase in the number of degree students at Mondragon University. A total of 1,500 new students will begin their degrees in 2020, 5.5% more than last year

Together with the Rector, the opening ceremony was presided by the President of the Basque Government Iñigo Urkullu, who officially opened the academic year, Mondragon University’s Secretary General Idoia Peñacoba and doctoral graduate Nagore Ipiña, and it was also attended by the new Regional Education Minister Jokin Bildarratz and the President of Mondragon University, Mikel Álvarez
