At the beginning of April, the Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea and the Association of Internal Communication Managers (DIRCI) signed a framework agreement for collaboration in activities of interest with the aim of promoting activities that promote internal communication as a professional discipline in Spain.

Internal Communication is an increasingly important discipline in organizations and companies as it is the instrument through which the company's strategy is conveyed, connects and generates a dialogue with employees and promotes corporate culture and engagement.

DIRCI and the Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea are aware of the strategic role that Internal Communication is adopting in organizations, increasingly present in management committees, and have joined forces to carry out joint actions to enhance the value of Internal Communication in the academic and professional environment. Among the areas of work of the agreement are: to develop activities in the areas of knowledge of internal communication; to encourage debate and the exchange of experiences; to collaborate in the promotion, strengthening and development of the area; to stimulate the reciprocal exchange of information on training, research, social responsibility, publications and others.

Lander Beloki Mendizabal, Dean of the Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea: We value this new agreement as a springboard for the students of Mondragon Unbersitatea as this new link will allow future generations to approach the world of internal communication and have direct contact with professionals in the sector.

Marian Abrines, President of DIRCI: This collaboration agreement will allow us to continue advancing in the objective of our association: to strengthen Internal Communication as a discipline. In order to have future Internal Communication professionals who can lead this area and be part of the Management Committees of future companies, we need to be able to work on the discipline from its origin, university education.
