Work experience and projects

Practical Training (8 ECTS)

Practical training takes the form of an obligatory module on the design, implementation and evaluation of an innovation project in a real context. This project will serve as the basis for the Master’s Thesis.

During the Master’s program, credits related to practical training must be earned:

  • Creation of teams
  • Development
  • Repetition and Implementation

A total of 80% of these modules must be completed in person and 20% not in person.

Master´s Thesis (10 ECTS)

The Master’s Thesis evolves throughout the entire Master’s process. During the Starting Point Cycle, the students will have defined their principles as agents of social and educational change, and in the Community Cycle, they will form their work teams, establish the topics for their project(s) and select the team(s) for those project(s). In the Development Cycle, each student will define his or her own learning itinerary and shape his or her project through new experiences, visits and trips.

The main aim of the coursework for the Master’s Degree is to train students for the development of a project whose starting point is a real (practical) situation to be improved. Thus, the project constitutes the framework of the Master’s Degree and the different courses should be understood to serve that project. That is, the project is not a work that the students carry out only at the end of the Master’s Degree, but rather it is a process that remains open throughout the entire Master’s Program.
