Access

Access to this master's degree is open to students holding either a national or foreign qualification who have studied higher education courses equivalent to MECES level 2 or similar, in the field of engineering. Additionally, they must meet the following criteria and the qualification must entitle them to access postgraduate studies in the issuing country.

Depending on the previous training acquired, access may be direct or with additional courses.

Direct

Students who have previously completed the following or similar studies may access this master's degree without any additional courses:

Studies affiliated to the field of engineering and architecture.

provided they have acquired the skills described below:

  • Skill 1: Be able to understand the concept of a company, as well as perform an economic-financial analysis, taking into account the institutional and legal framework.
  • Skill 2: Analyse systems and processes for their continuous improvement based on data collected on a regular basis for the efficient management of the organisation

With additional courses

In cases where direct access to the Master's degree is not possible, the academic committee will determine the additional courses that must be taken in order to acquire the required skills, completing all or some of the following subjects:

The additional courses are designed so that the student can complete them with a high degree of autonomy. For this reason, the start and end dates can be agreed by the student with the coordinator responsible for the degree programme with a certain degree of flexibility, as long as it is guaranteed that the time made available for the required training is sufficient for the student to work towards acquiring the required skills.

As a reference, the estimated work time required for a subject of 4 to 4.5 ECTS is 3 weeks, and in the case of a subject of 6 ECTS, it is 4 weeks, with and 8 hour/day dedication. Additional training courses will be offered between January and July.

These additional courses must be completed before the start of the academic year, and students interested in doing so must make the necessary arrangements for this training.

Admission

The body responsible for the admission of students is the Academic Committee of the EPS of Mondragon Unibertsitatea.

Once the access requirements have been met, the admission of students will be based on the following two criteria:

  1. The student’s academic record.
  2. Personal interview

Students shall be required to have achieved level B2 (of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment), or an equivalent qualification, for the English language, to be admitted to the Master’s degree course, in order to ensure that students have reached a sufficient level to ensure follow-up and learning, and achievement of expected results. In addition, foreign students from countries with official languages other than Spanish will be required to have a B2 level or equivalent in Spanish.
