The book, published by the LANKI Institute of Cooperative Studies, has 109 pages and is available online.
The book, The Contribution of Cooperatives to the Challenges of the Basque Productive Network, was written by LANKI researcher Igor Ortega, who says in the preface to his book, “the document summarizes and presents the conclusions of a study on the contribution of cooperatives to the challenges of the Basque productive network.” With respect to the purpose of the work, he states that, “it is a point of departure for a more extensive research project whose objective is to examine the contributions to society made by cooperatives today.”
The book has six sections in which the author examines the social contribution of cooperatives, the Basque productive network as it faces the challenge of globalization, and the contribution of cooperatives to the challenges of the productive network, among other topics.
The study was supported by the Provincial Government of Guipuzkoa.
