On April 1, the Goiener cooperative for the generation and consumption of renewable energy and the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences signed a cooperation agreement on the Eskoriatza campus. The agreement ceremony saw the participation of the highest representatives of the two entities: Goiener director Santi Otxoa de Eribe and Begoña Pedrosa, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences.

The agreement makes the Faculty a contributing member of the Goiener cooperative, and states that from now on, Goiener will provide energy for the Aretxabaleta and Eskoriatza campuses.

The purposes of the agreement are to strengthen the relationship between the two organizations, to promote responsible consumption and use of energy in the Faculty, and to guarantee that all energy used by the Faculty from now on will come from renewable sources.
