The University Master’s Degree Program in Teacher Training for the Exercise of the Profession of Teacher of Secondary Education, Vocational Training, and Languages will open the 2019-2020 academic year with a number of innovations, the most significant being that this Master’s degree program will be offered in two modalities: in-person (dual) and semi-in-person. The objective here in the Basque Country is always to adapt to the academic and professional needs of the students.

 

In the in-person (dual) modality, classes will take place Monday to Thursday mornings. Students will also do practicums in innovative schools throughout the year, ultimately becoming part of the teaching staff.

 

In the semi-in-person modality, students will have in-person classes once every two weeks and will do their practicums on their own schedule.

 

In both modalities, students will benefit from personalized follow-up and a challenge-based learning and teaching process, and their studies will focus on the educational system of the Basque Country, in which the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences has served as a model for more than 40 years.

 

There are four specializations in this Master’s program:

Humanities and Social Sciences

  • Languages and Literature
  • Technology
  • Natural Sciences and Mathematics
