Objectives and competencies

Graduates in Mechanical Engineering will be capable of:

  • Writing and developing projects for the design, manufacturing, assembly, optimisation, exploration and conservation of mechanical equipment, manufacturing processes and industrial plants.
  • Taking measurements, making calculations, assessments, appraisals, surveys, studies, reports, work plans, and other similar work.
  • Accurately and rigorously handling the mandatory specifications, regulations and rules in their field of work.
  • Developing their career with a strong technical background in Mechanics, and personal skills such as personal initiative, capacity for teamwork and capacity to meet new challenges, willing to carry out their professional activity in global and delocalized environments.

This bachelor degree qualifies you for the profession of Industrial Technical Engineer, regulated by Order CIN/351/2009 of 9th February (20/02/2009).

On the other hand, the learning outcomes achieved in this Degree are adapted to Level 2 of the MECES (Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education).

Students who meet the requirements established by Decree 47/2012 of 3 April on the 'Recognition of official studies conducted in Euskera and exemption from accreditation with language qualifications and certificates in Euskera', may obtain the exemption of the accreditation of the level equivalent to C1 (EGA)
