REAL PROJECT-BASED LEARNING FOR PRIMARY EDUCATION

At Mondragon University, we have an innovative model: Mendeberri 2025. This model focuses on the professional profile, but also pays special attention to the personal development of students so that they will be able to deal with the technological, ecological and social challenges of the 21st century. With the Mendeberri 2025 project, we aim to train people who have the following characteristics:

  • Citizens of the world
  • With identity and personal goals
  • Cooperative
  • Communicators and communication facilitators
  • Active learners
  • Flexible learners

You will learn through active methodologies, which you will discover throughout the bachelor's degree. In the bachelor's degree in Primary Education, instead of courses, you will work through modules and experience situations that are very closely related to the profession. You will also have a close relationship with schools, as you will visit them frequently and do internships in educational centers.

Another powerful core feature of your learning process will be teamwork. In addition, you will achieve comprehensive training through interdisciplinary work.

What features do the modules have?

The modules are interdisciplinary and have been designed from many different perspectives and areas.

When you start a module, you will work only on that module. This way, you can concentrate better on each one!

The modules are very practical and are directly related to your future professional skills.

You will have the help of teachers and tutors throughout your entire learning process.

LEIRE DIAZ MONTOYA

Student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education

“I would highlight our way of working on topics, since we work in teams and through modules, that is, we don’t have subjects and we give importance to interdisciplinarity. This allows us to work on different perspectives and areas in a very practical way and always in relation to our future profession”.
