The 25th IEEE International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation (ETFA) 2020 took place in Vienna on 8-11 September. The ETFA conference represents one of the world’s most important events and focuses on the latest developments and new technologies in the field of industrial automation. It is a space for exchange that allows networking, the exchange of ideas, and the identification of synergies between industry, researchers, and developers.

The works presented by the Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa researchers have been the following:

1. “Critical Analysis of the Suitability of Surrogate Models for Finite Element Method Application in Catalogue-Based Suspension Bushing Design”, presented by Carlos Cernuda, researcher in the Data Analysis and Cybersecurity research line. This work is part of the FATIGUE project and has been developed in collaboration with the Surface Technology research line, the Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen, UK) and the company CIKAUTXO.
2. “ADAPT: An Automatic Diagnosis of Activity and Processes in automatic environments”, by Igor Azkarate, researcher in the Robotics and Automation research line
3. “Data-Driven Industrial Human-Machine Interface Temporal Adaptation for Process Optimisation”, by Daniel Reguera, researcher in the Data Analysis and Cybersecurity research line.
