The Director of Advanced Engineering at ITP Aero and the R&D coordinators of Mondragon Unibertsitatea are meeting to analyse the latest innovations in the aeronautical sector and prepare future lines of work to be jointly developed.

ITP Aero, the leading company in the aeronautical sector, and Mondragon Goi Eskola Poiteknikoa have organised a day of collaboration within the framework of collaborative research, jointly developed for more than 10 years.  The meeting held on 22 May reinforced the entities’ consolidated relationship of collaboration and allowed them to align the strategic lines of research to be jointly developed in the future.

The day began with a meeting between the heads of ITP Aero and the coordinators of the research lines of Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa, where different milestones and actions were proposed to be jointly discussed in the coming months.  

In a second meeting, the managers of ITP Aero shared with the research staff of the university the projects underway in relation to hybrid aircraft, which has facilitated the exchange of information and experiences to facilitate collaboration in the future on this subject. 

To finish the conference, Alfredo Lopez-Diez offered a seminar to the students of the Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering in relation to aeronautical engines and components.  This type of presentation represents a key strategy of Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa to bring the students of the Master’s Degree closer to the reality of the leading companies in the market.
