Aitor Laka wins Enpresa Sortu contest
The winning project proposes consulting services in electrical networks to serve companies that use equipment based on power electronics. These include, for example, equipment that is used in wind farms, photovoltaic systems, and HVDC installations.
The Enpresa Sortu contest is held every year with the aim of supporting the creation of new companies with a technological and innovative profile by students and alumni of the Higher Polytechnic School. In addition to the students, the teaching and research staff of Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa, S. Coop can participate in the initiative.
Aitor Laka Basabe, an alumnus of Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa and founding partner of the company CONVERGRID, S.L. (the “Company”) has been the winner of the contest held in 2018.
The project presented, the electrical network consulting firm “CONVERGRID, S.L.”, responds to the need not covered to provide service to companies that use equipment based on power electronics. The project focuses on the client and aims to meet their needs.
The winner commits himself to dedicate 100% of the prize to the development of his project. In addition, if the company is viable at the end of the project, the winner will be professionally dedicated to the start-up and operation of the new activity.
