The Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Jon Altuna, received Mr. Juan Manuel García Samaniego, Chairman of CACES at the Bilbao campus
Mondragon Unibertsitatea has welcomed the Chairman of the Ecuadorian Council for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (CACES) at the Bilbao campus.
The aim of the visit was for Mr. Juan Manuel García Samaniego, Chairman of CACES, to learn more about Mondragon Unibertsitatea.
The Vice Chancellor of Mondragon Unibertsitea received Mr. García Samaniego at the Bilbao AS Fabrik centre where the presentation of the Bilbao AS Fabrik ecosystem took place, with the participation of the research professor, Mr. Luis Berasategi. They then visited the complex.
At mid-morning, they travelled to Bilbao Berrikuntza Faktoria where, in addition to seeing this other part of Mondragon Unibertsitatea in Bilbao, Mr. García Samaniego learnt about the Degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation (LEINN), the only degree that is 100% focused on the training of entrepreneurs. For this they were able to count on the assistance of Ms. Ziortza Olano, the Mondragon Unibertsitatea research professor.
The visit ended with a working lunch and a meeting where views on the quality of universities were shared.
