Vicente Atxa has been reelected as Rector of Mondragon University

The Governing Board of Mondragon University has reelected unanimously Vicente Atxa as Rector for the next four years.

In process that has been taken today, 10th September, the Governing Board of Mondragon University after hearing the report and the President’s proposal has reelected unanimously Vicente Atxa as Rector of the university. Vicente Atxa has been the Rector of Mondragon University since January 2015 and he will start now his second term.

In the reelection process have participated the presidents and the managers of the governing boards of the different faculties, companies and institutions that has presence in the university.

Atxa, who is 53, has been leading Mondragon University for four years. Before that, he has been the director of the Faculty of Engineering for eight years and member of the Governing Board of Mondragon University. Vicente Atxa is senior engineer in electronics and Doctor on electronics and communication from Staffordshire University in United Kingdom.
