Entrepreneurship Education Week, which was created within the framework of International Education Day, was held at national level for the second time from 25 to 29 January. In the case of the BBF, several activities took centre stage during these days. In addition to the LEINN evaluation sessions that have been taking place throughout the month of January, several activities are highlighted this week.

On the one hand, the MTA incubation programme, The Future Game, led by the DOT cooperative, began on Monday 24 January. A programme that connects the present with the future, where young people with a desire for change imagine and create the future that belongs to them. The team companies Hagalaz, Stamm and Riven will be taking part from Bilbao Lab.

On the 26th, there was a double event. In the morning, Biook, who resides in the BBF, opened its doors to discover life through the eyes of science. This non-profit association based on the Do It Yourself Biology (DIYbio) movement and Citizen Science aims to promote social innovation.

In an afternoon session organised by Agirre Lehendakaria Center, team entrepreneurs from the team companies Avalon, Hagalaz, Riven, Stamm and Tabia had the opportunity to talk with Indy Johar and Joost Beunderman from the company Dark Matter Labs. Among some of the topics discussed, two stand out. First, the importance of finding a balance between being craftspeople and philosophers in this fast-paced world. Secondly, as agents of change, the organisations we create, always with a systems perspective, must be created to be continually learning.

On Thursday, 27th January, Mondragon Team Academy (MTA) took part in the BCF (Basque Coaching Factory) Congress. Team coaches Ziortza Olano and Maitane Martín together with LEINNer Andoni Etxebarria talked about the opportunities of Team-coaching and the MTA model. Andoni Etxebarria, shared his process and experience of LEINN over 4 years in Mondragon Unibertsitatea. Andoni also detailed what Gaman is about, the company of which he is CEO and with which they want to revolutionise the market of accessible toilets.

Finally, the week ended with a new session of the BBF Fintech open innovation programme at the Iberdrola Tower with Kutxabank and Kutxabank Seguros together with Ibermática and the LEINN team company, SOLID. This programme, which only has one last session left, is committed to digital transformation and improving the customer experience, bringing together entrepreneurial talent with leading companies in innovation and local commitment.
