TEAMINN Mastery International program is an International Executive Program in Team Coaching & Learning Facilitation launched by Mondragon Team Academy (MTA) and accredited by Mondragon Unibertsitatea, to gain the knowledge, know-how and practical experience as a qualified MTA Team Coach.This combo is an international reference in the field of education and entrepreneurship.

The core of TEAMINN Mastery International program  learning methods assumes the "team learning by creating" model of Mondragon Team Academy & the Finnish methodology from Tiimiakatemia (Team Academy from Finland). The core ideology of Tiimiakatemia is rooted in its Leading Thoughts. They are fundamental beliefs about humanity, communality, creation of something new and applying ideas to practice.

The Team Academy was founded in 1993, when the marketing lecturer Johannes Partanen decided he had had enough of old and inefficient teaching methods. Johannes started an entrepreneurship center of excellence, where learning is based on self-directedness and “learning by doing”. As Johannes has shared many times “Tiimiakatemia wasn’t created by planning. Instead it was created with continuous experiments”, they aimed with the learning revolution. It is precisely with this philosophy that TEAMINN Mastery International program  was created.

Attracted by this new way of learning, during the last ten years, more than 115 people have taken part in this program. To this figure should be added all those trained by the Finnish Global Tiimiakatemia programs.

In the last edition of TEAMINN Mastery International program, the 12th, 17 people from all over the world have become part of the team. Due to this multiculturality, this has been the first ever Digital Twin- Blended program, combining offline and online processes. A learning process that has occurred simultaneously presentially and digitally in 4 continents: Africa, America, Asia & Europe.

Two teams had been constantly learning and crossing during the program. Anyone starting online could finish the program offline, and vice versa. This experience has been key to understanding that we live in a new reality that combines offline and online: onlive.

 

Why do we need MTA Team Coaches?                                             

– Education is the industry that shapes society, conventional education is obsolete and a new education revolution is emerging.

– To “Reinvent Education”, we need a new approach and understanding of an educator, of learning environments and of processes.

– Teams are the base and root of any organization and community. Therefore, the core “cell” to embrace learning and optimal model creation. We understand team as “when two or more people come together to cooperate to do something they cannot do or want to do individually”.

– The world has not been given to us to contemplate it, but to transform it. Entrepreneurs and disruptive innovators are the ones who lead this transformation.

– Teampreneurship is the new trend of entrepreneurship. It is emerging worldwide from early adopters such as Silicon Valley “Startup teams”, Mondragon disruptive team-intrapreneurs…

TEAMINN Mastery International program essence

The aim of this program is to give the opportunity to become a team coach to be able to accompany a young community of teampreneurs all around the world combining action and  reflection with personalized experience:

  1. The eminently practical dimension of the TEAMINN Mastery International program  approach is rooted in practical team coaching action. This allows each professional to transform themselves as Team Coaches during their team-entrepreneurs’ learning process.
  1. It is an Executive Master mode, intended to be followed and developed alongside normal working activities. The Master is designed so that each participant can develop herself/himself as an MTA Team Coach implementing a specific project in her/his company in parallel with the development of the training program.

 

Unique way of learning

During the TEAMINN Mastery International program you will develop your own team coaching skills, both in theory and in practice. You will learn major team coaching frameworks and how to use them to build action teams, learning organizations and a team entrepreneurial culture.

We will combine the latest theories and ways of doing with unique life experiences in several MTA Labs. Those Labs are chosen depending on the Module topic, in order to have a real inmersion in the learning and in the ecosystem. Each module is then followed by a “Field Fun”, some individual time to put in practice the learnings and continue with the learning path/spiral.

All of this while you experience a process of deep transformation in yourself towards your best self-knowledge.

You can forget about boring lectures – all contact days are inspiring, non-formal, participative and full of collaborative, practical working. During the program, you will become part of the international community of team coaches where the passion to promote team entrepreneurship is shared by all the participants.

In this learning adventure The MTA Falkon Model will be our compass. This learning methodology, designed by us and inspired by many, describes the creation of teampreneurs. It is a framework that illustrates the main themes of learning in Mondragon Team Academy Education programs. Thus, it forms flexible “marching orders'' (processes) for all activities.

The MTA Falkon Model includes 18 processes, being each of them   closely connected to the creation of teampreneurship.

Modules & Team

The 12th edition is the one we just end up with the Team Coach Character Presentation of the 15 participants. In order to understand how this works, let us go module by module.

The 12 months long program consists of a maximum of 20 contact days including content on five critical themes on team coaching and building learning organizations.  Each of the modules will be held in a different, inspiring, and relaxed place, and from 2020, the program can be followed fully online if needed. It also includes at least one Learning Journey.

 

The 5 Themes of the learning modules are:

 M0: Kick off – Orientation day

An Official welcome focused on  explaining what the program is, the objectives and learning goals and having the first connections with the methodology. It is an online session where you discover the most important tool of this journey: the team.

M1: Team coaching on Team Learning &  Teampreneurship

Connection with the roots of MTA and Mondragon Cooperativism. A module full of inspiring visits (Guggenheim Museum, Arantzazu Sanctuary, Bilbao Berrikuntza Faktoria, MTA Oñati Lab,…) and first experience as learners with MTA learning tools (learning contract, birthgiving, learning spirals,…). The aim was to get the first tools as Team Coaches while experiencing it.

M2: Team Coaching on Leadership & Leading Thoughts + Wellbeing + Customers & Change Making experiments

A module full of action and movement. In order to go deeper in the Leading Thoughts the Team Coaches dynamized a session to get to know and co-create the next MTA Leading Thoughts together with other agents of the community. They also went on customer visits with team entrepreneurs that have gone through LEINN, learnt about new MTA tools (pre motorola, postmorotola, learning paths…)  And also had a big inmersion on wellbeing practices. How to combine action and reflection? That was the real challenge.

M3: Team Coaching on Digital Team Learning + Equipping Technical skills + Team Learning Journeys

The Learning Journey of the Program. We travel not only to understand the learning module, but also to be out of our comfort zone. Learning from another ecosystem is always an opportunity to grow faster. We learned about Platform Cooperatives, Learning Journeys and how we need to accompany Tech Skills in LEINN. After working and visiting different projects we come to a conclusion: Cooperativism + digital tools = maximize impact.

M4: Team  Coaching on Startups Development + Startup creation + Impact scaling + Business model generation

This module was held in Valencia, a city full of acceleration and incubation programs and business opportunities. We introduced the team to a full observation experience to understand and meet on the first hand what happens in these processes. The conclusion after three days was clear: we are not here to adapt to what already exists, but to transform it from our values.

M5: MTA Team Coach Character Presentation
 
Last learning space for the team where all the learnings and reflections need to be presented. It’s the moment to DARLE FORMA to the Team Coach Character: which are the characteristics that make me an MTA Team Coach?  
There was space to learn from each other and create together. There is also  time to look back and realize that the team has been the most important tool during the process.
