COCETA (Spanish Confederation of Worker Cooperatives) has hosted the General Assembly of the International Cooperative Alliance and has developed a wide program of events from June 19 to 22.

Under the slogan "Cooperatives: the time is now", around 600 people from all continents gathered in Seville. The program included an institutional agenda (opening ceremony), a corporate agenda (general and electoral assembly ACTI and assemblies of COCETA and Faecta) and an agenda of contents (workshops, colloquiums, conferences on the European Social Economy Action Plan, Digital Platforms, Health, Education, Equality, Youth, Sustainability, as well as visits to Andalusian cooperatives).

From the Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea Lander Beloki (Dean of the Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea), Aitor Lizartza (Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship unit Mondragon Team Academy in the Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertistatea) and Trebor Scholz (Director and founder of Platform Cooperativism Consortium, professor at The New School and member of the faculty of the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University; currently on a stay at the Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea) participated in the event. They were accompanied by Nagore Ipiña (Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences-HUHEZI) and Leire Uriarte (Institute of Cooperative Studies LANKI).

Mondragon Unibertsitatea participated in a panel on the challenges of the future of cooperatives, as well as a workshop together with the Andalusian School of Social Economy on "An educational experience that uses the economic action".
