Next Thursday 3 February at 18:00 the fourth meeting of "Urban Labs - Talks & Beers", organised by the Urban Labs of Mondragon Unibertsitatea will be held at Bilbao AS Fabrik.
On this occasion the meeting will focus on Metaverse, with the title "Is metaverse all that glitters?"
A conversation between three pioneers and professionals in the field of bringing immersive worlds to audiovisual, education and also to business. The meeting will feature a keynote speech by the multi-award-winning Roberto Romero Pérez, who will be joined by Diego Urruchi and Jorge R. López Benito in an interesting panel discussion.
After Mark Zuckerberg's announcement regarding his company's plans and the change of its name to Meta, we are attending an endless number of news, publications and opinions about the "metaverse" concept, some of them well argued, many others opportunistic, driven by the current "hype" and others that foresee a bubble similar to those of the .coms.
In the Labs, we will talk about the current state of the Metaverse, but we will also look back, to reflect on what we have learned, and forward, to draw the roadmap for this phenomenon.
