International talent came together on Friday February 24 in Bizkaia through B Global Talent, an initiative promoted by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and developed by Mondragon Team Academy-Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea to promote the attraction and development of talent in the territory. The program aims to promote open innovation together with companies, and has brought together more than 50 participants of 12 nationalities who have worked on the challenges presented by Eroski, Datua, Kutxabank, Ibermática, Laboral Kutxa and Orbea. The areas of innovation proposed by the companies revolve around sustainability, artificial intelligence, energy efficiency, optimization of organizational processes and user experience.

B Global Talent takes place in B Accelerator Tower (BAT building of Torre Bizkaia), the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem that brings together a large community of startups, companies, investors and technology partners. The first part of the initiative kicked off on Thursday, February 9, with a 36-hour hackathon. Over the next two weeks, a program of acceleration, training and workshops has taken place to shape innovative solutions into projects. After this program, the teams have continued developing their innovative projects with the help of the participating companies.

In the words of the project coordinator, Haizea Diego Goikoetxea, entrepreneur of the LEINN degree (Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation) of Mondragon Team Academy-Mondragon Unibertsitatea: "It has been an enriching and intense experience that has created a lot of learning, as well as generating a new international community of entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs".
