Academic calendar

The academic calendar runs as follows: 

• Autumn semester: Beginning September - End of January
• Spring Semester Beginning February - Mid June

All incoming Exchange students are requested to attend Mondragon Unibertsitatea - Faculty of Engineering, during the COMPULSORY Introduction Days (*date to be confirmed)

General information

Mondragon University - Faculty of Engineering´s working language for exchange students will be English or Spanish and a minimum B2 (IELTS) level will be required.

Incoming Exchange students will be able to choose between Autumn and Spring semester or full academic year courses and we recommend them to follow 30 ECTS per semester.

POPBL Model

By joining the recommended courses, students will be able to experiment Mondragon University's innovative educational model, joining local students during both regular lessons and team projects. This way, students will learn to face real problems, develop imagination, creativity, autonomy and promote initiative.

Basque Culture classes

Incoming Exchange students will be offered Basque Culture classes (6 ECTS), during their semester of study.

This programme is offered at Eskoriatza Campus.

Spanish classes

Incoming Exchange students will be offered Spanish classes (3 ECTS), during their semester of study.

This programme is offered at both, Arrasate-Mondragon Campus and Orona Ideo Campus.
